INDIVIDUAL CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
All classes include modifications to allow the majority of students to be comfortable in a pose. The use of props such as a yoga strap, a block, or a cushion is highly encouraged and instruction on their usage is provided. All classes end with a 10-15 minute Savasana - Corpse Pose - as a way to further unite the body, the mind, and the spirit.
A little extra information that might be useful in choosing your classes...
Monday Class:
A modified gentle class over the lunch hour. Dressed for work? No problem - all poses can be done on the floor or in a chair.
Tuesday Class:
A full Yoga flow class with more intermediate poses. Poses are sometimes held longer and this class includes arm weight-bearing postures as well as some inversions.
Wednesday a.m. Class:
A very gentle class, focusing on extended warm up time and stretching; no upper body weight bearing poses. This 1 hour class is slow moving and will include basic poses and some restorative postures.
Wednesday p.m. Class:
A gentle class featuring Yin and Restorative Yoga. Yin poses are generally held 3-5 minutes with focus on the joints and deep connective tissue. Restorative postures are held for 5-10 minutes with the focus on allowing the body to rest, digest, and recover.
Thursday Class:
A gentle yoga class with limited arm weight-bearing and inversions. The majority of poses will be basic, with an occasional intermediate pose.

COST OF CLASS SESSIONS:
Drop-in fee $10
A "session" is 8 weeks of classes.
If only 1 class time is missing, students are invited and encouraged to attend one of the other class times. If an entire week of classes is missing, another week of classes is added.
